A charming miniature from the David Winter Cottages collection, this vintage “Scrooge’s School” Christmas ornament brings the storybook architecture of Dickensian England to a holiday display. The cottage features steep snow-covered gables, Tudor-style timbering, a tall brick chimney, tiny windows, and wonderfully detailed winter landscaping.
The underside retains its original David Winter Cottages label identifying the piece as Scrooge’s School by John Hine Studios, based on original David Winter designs and made in China. The base is also marked 1992, tying the design to the 1992 Scrooge’s School Christmas release.
Its small scale and original hanging loop make it ideal for a Christmas tree, tabletop vignette, vintage ornament collection, or David Winter display. The architectural detail gives it presence even at miniature size.
Vintage condition.
