Vintage David Winter Tomfool's Cottage, Collectors Guild Piece No. 9, issued in Spring 1991. This highly detailed English cottage was handmade and hand painted in the Studios & Workshops of John Hine Ltd. in Hampshire, Great Britain.
The cottage features warm terracotta tile roofs, a tall pale brick chimney, Tudor-style timber framing, cream stone walls, white-paned windows, winding cobblestone paths, climbing greenery and vivid red floral accents. Architectural details continue around the entire piece, making it attractive from every display angle.
The underside retains its original green felt and identification label reading “Tomfool's Cottage,” Collectors Piece No. 9, © 1990 David Winter, Issued Spring 1991, with John Hine Ltd. and Great Britain markings.
