David Winter Ebenezer Scrooge’s Counting House 1987 Christmas Cottage Dickens John Hine Great Britain

Vintage David Winter “Ebenezer Scrooge’s Counting House,” created as the Special for Christmas 1987 cottage. This substantial hand-made and hand-painted collectible was produced in the Studios & Workshops of John Hine Ltd. in Hampshire, Great Britain.

The snow-covered Tudor-style building features red brickwork, timber framing, a tall chimney, lattice windows, winding stone paths, an arched passageway, clock detail and sculpted winter landscaping. The base is marked “FOR CHRISTMAS 1987,” and the original green felt underside retains its identifying David Winter label.

A wonderful display piece for a David Winter collection, Dickens or A Christmas Carol collection, English cottage collection, or traditional Christmas village display.
